Welcome Generation Church!We are so very excited to continue serving alongside your congregation. We look forward to the families, friends, and individuals making this extraordinary team. Our volunteer Global Outreach Trips are the “hands and feet” that get to go and see what God has purposed to do through Kids Around the World come to fruition — whether it is by giving kids the gift of play with a beautiful playground, providing nutritious meals, or sharing God’s story of His love for them. Part of this week will be dedicated to building a playground and when it is all complete, we will have a huge celebration to dedicate it to the kids in the community. The team will also spend time in the communities, building relationships and enjoying the beautiful culture of the D.R.

Kids Around The World

This was a challenging trip but in a good way. Though it was hard and sweaty work, we teachers and students were able to glimpse and take part in the work that is done daily by the pastor and his family in Peru, not only in Lima and Iquitos but also in other places along the Amazon. It was very valuable to take part in services in which the gospel was presented and to also serve the church through painting and cleaning the building to make a good space for the people to meet in. I loved seeing how Pastor Jairo and his family are serving local people there and bringing them the gospel every day so many can come to faith in Christ. Great trip!

Santa Fe Christian Team

I was very impressed with the organization and mission of kids around the world.   We built a playground, visited homes and story times in a few hope zones.  We also handed out meals after the story times.   Really enjoyed hearing about the work in other countries.   Certainly will be sending teams to help in various locations around the world. 

KATW Ecuador Vision Trip

It is amazing what God is doing in the Kids Around The World communities. I love the approach of KATW as they let the communities drive what they need rather than the nonprofit.  The staff is terrific and very thorough and helping you plan your trip.  I can’t wait to come back again.

This was a great trip!  It was well organized, and the staff was amazing.  Accommodations were top notch!  Looking forward to our next trip.  

Amazing time on site. Loved working alongside all of the staff. My one piece of feedback in concerning the experience before the trip! There were many many emails sent to me, each with usually only one piece of information. This made it very hard to try and go back and find details. Maybe try to condense communication to 2-4 emails with pre-trip details, meeting links, insurance, etc. So it's all in one place. Standing in the airport trying to find my hotel information took a while because of all the emails! Nothing too crazy, just something that I think would improve the experience going forward. I loved my time and am working on proposals to go back again

Kids Around the World is an AMAZING organization making a transformative impact into kids, families, and their communities.

I travelled with this organization to Panama in September 2025 to help build a children's playground behind their church.
What was so amazing was the amount of work the local church members spent preparing the site in advance to completely move cubic yards of dirt along a hillside creating a level site for upcoming playground construction.  

We worked hand-in-hand with the receiving community sharing shovels, sweat, smiles, and slaps on the back as well as immense JOY when a ribbon was cut and a huge line of kids (in their very best clothes) ran down to use the playground.  Parents stood by with such appreciation, pride, and thankfulness.   The heartfelt joy was absolutely contagious.

This was not the ONLY outreach Kids Around the World performed during my visit.   We visited homes where kids and families are receiving dried food packages from this group.   Mom's showed how they make special meals using these packets to feed and provide needed nutrition to their children.  

I visited a family receiving dried good packages who had IDENTICAL TRIPLETS.   This is EXTREMELY rare as well as a risky pregnancy in a wealthy country let alone a third world county.   The mom and girls bonded closely with me as I also shared photos of my OWN niece's identical triplets.   Needless this "random match" that God arranged did not go unappreciated.

We also enjoyed visiting a local school where kids are receiving the dried food packages along with Bible curriculum.
Kids learn stories with crafts as well as fun games.  For some of these kids, this is the only escape they have from violence, drugs, or other family hardships.  

This experience was so rewarding, that I am going back to Panama with Kids Around the World this June.   I am also helping a few other people financially in their fundraising to take this trip.   

If you have the interest to make a crazy eternal impact in lives of kids and their communities, I highly recommend joining a trip with this organization.  Your heart will be filled to the BRIM!

This trip was so amazing and impactful. One of my favorite mission trips I have been on. Thank you to the KATW staff for making our team feel so loved and cared for. Your intentionality showed through all you did. 

Harbor Point Panama Trip

The mission with KATW was a true blessing! Our time together with Greg Weitzel and the group who helped was an adventure!  It is amazing to see God working in the community ,when we gave to the people they came out with thanksgiving and joy to give back! The church was beautiful! I wish we could have done more for them!
Thanks to  KATW and everyone who is a part, for all they do around the world for all the people in need!

KATW Panama Vision Team

  The team was awesome, beginning with KATW staff, Britta, Greg and the team in Ecuador who did an amazing job in hosting us, and making great arrangements.  Mike McVey as leader did an awesome job in organizing the formation of this team.  Participants, Gerald, Dick, Marcus, Chip, Bill, Artie and definitely missed MIguel, were great to travel with, serve with and grow with.

The people in Ecuador were loving, receptive,  and most gracious.  Pastor Alexie and his congregation, the community, and the leadership in the town of Canitas, and the Province of Manibi, made us feel very welcomed.

As for me I am most grateful to each one with whom I traveled, worked and had  fellowship with.  I was given an opportunity to , serve, grow in awareness of God's wonderful children, make new friends and get to meet more of God's wonderful Church,/Body.

In short, "I was blessed beyond my expectations!"


This particular Vision Trip was sponsored by several Kids Around the World Board Members and their spouses who invited family and friends to be part of this trip to Panama.  Our group emersed ourselves in El Cosco Vejo (Historic District) of Old Panama City with hotels, buildings, shops, restaurants and cathedrals dating back to the early 1600's, but modernized to current standards.  The group spent 4 days building a playground at a church and small Christian School in Vacamonte' while sharing Kids Story and providing Kids Meals to hundreds of children and families in need.  We also visited several homes and met and prayed with families that are part of the Kids Around the World ministry programs.  The trip was filled with fun, spiritual emotions and most importantly providing hundred of kids and families with Fun, Food and Faith into the future.  The Kids Team that led the this event did a great job of organization and engagement throughout the week!!

We were blessed by this incredible trip to Panama. We enjoyed being with all those who were on this trip during the construction and time we were together. Steve is a truly gifted spiritual, organizational and operational leader, and Jacky and Melissa were equally important. We appreciated everything about the mission trip from the construction to the Hope Zone and family visits, and the dedication of playground as we participated with the excited children. Thank you also to Britta for her coordination back in Rockford.

        The mission trip taken with KATW to Panama far exceeded our expectations. The entire trip was extremely well planned and executed. We throughly enjoyed the productive time spent with the Panama families in sharing God’s love through the storybook ministries, playground building and dedication, the home visits and handing out One Meal. The variety of opportunities to develop friendships with the volunteer group enhanced not only the entire week but we have made new cherished friends.
A HUGE shoutout to Jacky, Steve, and Melissa for all their hard work and servant’s hearts. Their spiritual gifts were on full display.

DeWayne and I appreciated the opportunity to along side a great group of  believers this past week and also to learn more about the vision of KATW.  Meeting board members and some U.S. staff as well as Latin America staff was a plus.   It was a blessing to see some of your Hope Zones, the church/school, help with playground build in Vacamontes, join in for story club, and talk with children and adults from the community.  The trip was well planned and lodging and meals were beyond our expectations. We certainly have a better understanding of all the KATW has done around the world and some of what may be planned for future expansion and service.

A very rewarding and humbling experience for myself and I pray blessings of that community . The people were so loving and from what I saw very excited and  grateful. 



This trip was life changing!!!  I came with some anxiety and the KATW team (Amanda Zerilli, Steve and Jackie Nine) made me feel so comfortable and at peace.  KATW is changing the lives of the children and families of Panama while showing them Jesus love. I am so grateful and blessed to have been a part of this trip. Can’t wait to join KATW on another trip in the future.  

National Christian Foundation Panama Vision Trip

We worked with dedicated staff and wonderful fellow mission members. We were glad to be invited and enjoyed being with members of the community. 

What a beautiful ministry KATW is, the people who serve, the communities they support, and the families & children they bless has left such an impact.  It was an honor and privilege to serve alongside them for 5 days.  God has blessed this ministry tremendously, thank you Jesus!  They were so well organized, detailed oriented, and Christ centered.

Our Kids Around the World mission trip to Panama was phenomenal and life-changing, for the kids we served and for those who went on the trip. The staff handled all of the logistics smoothly and made sure everyone was taken care of. Beyond this, the staff also ministered to our hearts and souls. I loved the way they brought the team together to review the highs and lows of every day and to high five others on the team with words of affirmation. It was such a positive experience all around, and a way to see how the gospel is transforming a community. If you have the opportunity to attend a trip with Kids Around the World, do not hesitate, take advantage of a wonderful experience you will always remember.

One of the most rewarding missions trips I've been on... my expectation was to plant a few seeds... because of KATW's "mission" we were able to bring some hope and fun to a local staff.  Super nice to see how warm & appreciative the local staff was.  We all really appreciated the clarity on what we should or should not be doing :) Leadership was fantastic.  Steve & Jackie & Amanda led us so well... genuinely caring about every detail (we were a high maintenance team / way too many lactose in tolerant folks) :) 
Amanda is local to the NCF team, so we gained a new sister and friend!  We all plan to invite her to our local ministry event and do life with her!  Thankful for her ability to communicate the vision and mission of KATW.  Steve's leadership on the playground was a lot of fun.  Jackie's servant leadership heart was like no other.   KATW had a powerful leadership team and really invigorated us to go back home and build into one another... 

The only suggestion would be to share the names of resturants we were heading to.  This way people can order their meal knowing more about the cuisine options. 

It was a great trip. The schedule was full of meaningful experiences and well thought out. I felt safe throughout the trip. 

To God be the glory. This trip was a beautiful experience, from the wonderful accommodations, the thoughtful trip orchestration, the humble, kind, and loving spirit of each staff member, the bright smiles and joyful spirit of each community member, and the powerful way the Holy Spirit moved in the hearts of our team members. Amanda was correct when she said this would be a trip filled with first. This trip was truly something special that I'll carry in my heart. God is doing wonderful things through the KATW organization and I'm incredibly thankful I was able to have a small part in their mission to serve the nations.

These trips continue to amaze me how they impact the communities we work with and the lives of all who are willing to go.  These are the type of trips that open your eyes to see beyond what the world is and see what it can become when we are willing to step up and give freely of our time, talents, and treasures.  Thank you, Kids Around the World for another amazing trip.  I cannot wait until the next one.   

Little Tikes Panama Trip

This trip was an amazing experience for me. To be able to have been a part of something that created hope and enjoyment not only for the children and parents, but for me as well. to give back and see the happiness on these kids' faces was a beautiful sight to see. I hope to do it again or keep doing something that provides help and support for kids or adults in need again. I admired everyone that went out there and worked through the pain to make sure these kids got the playground and happiness they deserved.

Truly a life changing experience. The folks at Kids Around the World did an amazing job making this a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Everything was planned extremely well. Looking forward to next time!

This mission trip was truly impactful—honestly, even more meaningful to me than my time in Ecuador. The staff were absolutely amazing: so helpful, courteous, and always making sure we were well taken care of. The entire trip left me speechless.
It was incredibly fulfilling to help the families with their water systems and benches, and to witness firsthand how little they need to be so genuinely happy. Seeing how they come together, support one another, and build strong relationships within their community was truly inspiring. This experience has touched my heart in ways I’ll never forget.

Of the three missions I have been on this was one of the best. Everything was planned perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

This trip was absolutely life changing. The staff made it so welcoming whether being in country staff or out of country they were great! Never felt so welcomed! As a person who is new to missions I will say it was that most impactful first trip. To experience life change and such comfort is indescribable. To finally know what I’m called to is the most relieving place to be and if it wasn’t for the KATW staff I never would have known that I am called to missions/outreach full time! I can’t wait to see what else God has in store & I am so excited to already be planning my next trip with KATW. Blessings to everyone! 

D.R. Vision Trip

It was a great time.  I enjoyed meeting everyone on the trip and those from KATW.  The logistics were impeccable!  Hotel was nice, food was great, and transportation was well organized.   Was truly inspiring to see what KATW is doing in each of these communities.  I really enjoy the mission of KATW and the impact is so evident.  

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to see and experience firsthand the ways that KATW is partnering with local communities and churches to expand God’s kingdom.

Accommodations were amazing with a chef that prepared the best food each day for us. Serving the kids and families was a great experience that included playground building, home visits, playing with kids, giving out food while sharing stories from the Bible. Staff handled everything and were all very kind and helpful. Definitely a well done trip and we would go again!

KATW Ecuador GO TRIP

This was an amazing trip.  Kid Around the World is a great origination and had every detail covered.  Building a playground and ministering to the children is an experience you will remember for the rest of your life.  I would highly recommend doing a trip with Kid Around the World if want an opportunity to give back and see that are still good things happening in our world.

North Coast Calvary Chapel Panama Trip

I highly recommend partnering with KATW. 

5+ experience! I have been on a lot of service trips but none compares to what Steve and his team created. From pick up to drop off, the logistics were spot on. We built a playground in 2 days and I thought it would take months. We had fun, worked hard and connected with the community. I felt 100% safe the entire time. Kristy our interpreter was beyond patient and so caring. The bus was safe and well equipped. I honestly can’t say anything went wrong. The perfect trip!

This trip was excellent! We were very well taken care of. The Ecuadorian team was so wonderful, we were sad to leave them. Would definitely go again!

Community Life Church

My heart is still in Ecuador! We had such an amazing time and got to see God move and work in people's lives. The joy of the kids and hospitality of all was overwhelming. 

The accomodations and food were great as usual. However, several of us ended up with some stomach issues. Not sure if it was a bug or something we ingested, but most are pretty much back to normal now. 

We had a little hiccup when we arrived in Ecuador. They said we should have had documentation for our soccer balls and supplies and should have paid taxes. Still not sure what all that was about, but they let us through with them!

This was the 10th  mission trip for our church but the first with KATW. We were amazed at how "pampered" we were. The hotel was over the top beautiful, every single person we encountered was more than helpful, and the food was delicious and abundant. We couldn't ask for more.

Monroe Bible Church D.R. Trip

the trip to the DR and the La Romana area was amazing.  I met the most amazing people who ALL emanated the light of God, which was the most eye opening experience of the trip for me.  Esmilen, Manuel and their whole family impacted me the most, as they are so patient, so kind, so peaceful and no matter what was happening, they always had time to help someone else.  I will keep this feeling/experience with me forever.  thank you to Brian and everyone who was involved with this trip!

KATW Dominican Republic  GO TRIP

God blessed this trip and I can't wait to return to the Dominican Republic.  KATW is an awesome ministry that provides wonderful serving opportunities for people of all ages.  The sharing of the Gospel, discipling of kids and food distribution bless the community and the playground build is the cherry on top.  Seeing the kids at play on a project that our team collaborated on is overwhelming and an indescribable blessing.  The people of the Dominican Republic have an infectious joy.  From the KATW DR staffers to the local Pastor and his wife to the school leaders who welcomed our team with open arms to the kids who cheered our arrival, our trip could not have been any better.  

I had an amazing time in Ecuador!! Kids Around the World gave me an amazing experience for my first missions trip. The people, lodging, food, the work and all the laughter and fun in between. Sharing Jesus One Meal at a time with a fantastic organization. I can't wait for my next trip. 💜💚

The KATW visioning trip was extremely impactful. Valerie Bass is an inspired, engaging leader who made sure everyone felt a sense of purpose. Steve and Jackie were generous with their time and engagement, and made sure to build relational bridges across the board.
