We invite anyone and everyone interested in going on a trip with us to sign up and invite others to join you.

Our volunteer Global Outreach Trips are the “hands and feet” that get to go and see what God has purposed to do through Kids Around the World come to fruition — whether it is by giving kids the gift of play with a beautiful playground, providing nutritious meals, or sharing God’s story of His love for them.

Part of this week will be dedicated to building a playground and when it is all complete, we will have a huge celebration to dedicate it to the kids in the community. The team will also spend time in the communities, building relationships and enjoying the beautiful culture of the D.R.

Even when we have the schedule set, there is a strong chance of it changing due to a number of factors, such as flight delays, weather, or in-country conflicts. With that we ask everyone to be flexible and give grace to our team.

Travel from the U.S.
KATW will provide flight parameters after the trip is closed. You can then book your flight from the U.S. to the D.R.

Kick off the playground build
On the first day, the team will start with breakfast at the hotel and then head to the playground site to break ground.

Continue the build
Breakfast at the hotel. Most of the day will be spent building the playground with time to outreach in the afternoon.

Playground build and visit communities
Today will be dedicated to finishing the playground. After lunch, the team will take a break from the building to visit with children and families in the community.

Spend the day being the hands and feet of Christ, spreading love and kindness to kids who need it most.

This trip was excellent! We were very well taken care of. The Ecuadorian team was so wonderful, we were sad to leave them. Would definitely go again!

My heart is still in Ecuador! We had such an amazing time and got to see God move and work in people's lives. The joy of the kids and hospitality of all was overwhelming. The accomodations and food were great as usual. However, several of us ended up with some stomach issues. Not sure if it was a bug or something we ingested, but most are pretty much back to normal now. We had a little hiccup when we arrived in Ecuador. They said we should have had documentation for our soccer balls and supplies and should have paid taxes. Still not sure what all that was about, but they let us through with them!

This was the 10th mission trip for our church but the first with KATW. We were amazed at how "pampered" we were. The hotel was over the top beautiful, every single person we encountered was more than helpful, and the food was delicious and abundant. We couldn't ask for more.
